Already in existence during the Middle Ages, the bridge consists of two stone arches approximately 4 m high and features a characteristic humpback profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The roadway is paved with rounded cobblestones known as t\u00eates de chat (cat heads), while the parapet walls are topped with granite slabs.
