One of the oldest surviving houses in Brignais, this Renaissance-era Maison Forte once housed the first municipal council in 1792. Inside, visitors can glimpse a spiral staircase, emblematic of the period.
Nearby streets, Rue de Ronde, Rue des Chapeliers, Rue Diot, curve around the former fortifications. A small religious niche, visible at No. 20 Rue Colonel Guillaud, offers a discreet reminder of domestic devotion in historic Brignais.
